MVP,
I do it for hip-hop, that song were pretty dope.

Theater's a solid album

If I had a list of top 3 Luda albums, Theater of the mind would be on it. It was one of the few that stayed strong from front to back, with minimal filler, and focused. Definitely the best of the two “serious” albums he did.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
He has some fire songs but pop hits.

I guess the chicken beer intro was hard and I always loved “blow it out your ass” because he was rapping and not cartoonish on that song.

I just never heard anything serious from him I guess.
And that's what Jay said... Basically if you coming with your jokey rhymes and silly videos and shyt.... You're going to lose points

Everyone will say B-b-b-b-b-b-but Busta Rhymes... Busta is hardly ever on any top 10 lists as MC's even though commercially and lyrically combined, he's probably top 5.. Who can say they outshined Busta on a track? Nobody.. Now who puts him in they top 5? Also nobody

Luda brought personality, humor and character into Hip Hop.

In the early 2000's, Luda was killing a lot of features. One of his best guest verses was on Nas' Made You Look remix

Luda is one of the many emcees that put ATL on the map

Say what you say about Luda, Ludacris undisputedly is a legend.

Luda killed hov on one minute man, hov always copping pleas and excuses when he gets bodied on a track.

It’s always funny listening to Busta passively. He could be rhyming about something silly then start randomly dropping something crazy wise and insightful. It’s so easy to miss because he’s usually going so fast.

I’m don’t always like the beats/production he’s on, but I’ll always appreciate the music he gave us.

Came here to post this. And "Comin down the street like a parade, Macy's"

He doesn't get "lyrical credit" because his most well known verses are trash. This would have been a good point in like 2006 or 2007

That BS is not among his most well known verses. The Internet for whatever reason just harped on that BS during the whole Drake beef and use those lines to discredit Luda. He had a crazy run for like 10 years that can't be taken away from him. You can't name another MC who held their own with Jay Z and Nas on the same song. Nobody else can say they have a song with Nas and Jay on the same song.

Busta Rhymes, Ludacris and Missy Elliott are all in the same boat to me
