Nah Black Republican.
The song's beginning, I literally picture black kings on a horse chariot making a grand entrance. The vibe of the music screams black royalty.

N did i mention i had an 04 Lexus 430 around this time. When this song would come on, inside that impeccable interior, it did something to my soul as a black man. Couldn't tell me i wasn't that *****.
Excuse me y'all I'm having a moment.

Oh yeah, Success is a super dope record.
Opulence:whew:

I always preferred Black republican to Success but Success always held up better on repeated listening. The whole AG album is up there in my favourite Jay albums anyway so I guess that explains it. BR doesn't hold up as well but I remember the feeling I had when I heard it for the first time. Shyt had me in euphoria.

East Side!
I'm in the minority, but as a Nas fan, Nas' verse on Success is a mailed in throw away. Jay was flowing his ass off and Nas came in all lackadaisical with the driest flow. Same with his verse on BBC, shyt was a lazy throw away verse. I don't know why, but Nas doesn't seem to bring it on his Jay-Z collabs with the exception of the Luda joint and Analyze This (he BODIED that song something serious, but is this even a true collab?) Black Republicans is their best collab IMO.

Yep. Way better than Black Republicans.

This would've been their best one of Jay had gotten on it and Nas had finished it like was intended.

Fukkin' a lot. His unreleased catalogue is better than like 90% of the game. And we still haven't heard all of it. Salaam Remi says he got like 6 albums worth of shyt in the vault. God's son!

Success, McLaren, women starin'
My villain appearance
Sacred blood of a king
In my vein ain't spillin'
Ghetto Othello, Sugar Hill, Romero
Camaro driven
I climax from paper then ask why is life worth livin'
Is it the hunt for the shyt that you want
To receive is great but I lust giving
The best jewelers want to make my things
I make Jacob shyt on Lorraine, just to make me a chain
nikkas mention of one love, came home to paper in hand
Ain't got to brag about the feds young man
Old cribs I sold, y'all drive by like monuments
Google Earth Nas, I got flats in other continents
Worst enemies want to be my best friends
Best friends want to be enemies, like that's what's in
But I don't give a fukk, walk inside the lion's den
Take everybody's chips, about to cash them in
Up your catalogue dog, mines worth too much
Like Mike Jack's ATV Pub, Mottola can't touch

come on man nas flow on this song was god like on this shyt.
