Ghetto techno is not only the worst Hov song I’ve ever heard, it may be the worst song I’ve heard period

That whole bueprint 3 era was some of jay’s worst music

I thought I never heard this song but think I actually heard this before. I thought it was a fan-made “remix” or something. Like, they ripped the vocals from some obscure Jay song and put it together with that irregular ass beat.

Not the worst song I ever heard but I can see why he never wanted this to see the light of day

I remember Ghetto Techno being scrubbed off YouTube periodically every year or so and then it reappears.

Ghetto Techno is one of the many reasons Jay fell out with Timbo after BP3. Those were all leaks that had no business getting out. Whether it was Tim himself or someone else, it was bad.

I just remember everyone was trying to one-up the EDM/House music vibes that guys like David Guetta, Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia, and others flooded the market with. Avicii was there, but really blew up in the US a slight bit later. BP3 was really Kanye and others trying to replicate that type of sound, but also meshed with Timbaland's brash sounds from Shock Value (which was sonically quite painful to listen to in retrospect).

Fortunately, they let most of the shytty beats get flushed out on BP3 and other joints before re-convening in Hawaii and creating MBDTF. Then Ye got into the wave - WTT, Cruel Summer, etc. etc. etc.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Even GOATs have feelings :mjcry:

And I don't think I've ever heard the song :patrice:
I have it cause I downloaded all the bootleg tracks from BP3 era. I don't think it was ever officially released.

Also, I don't remember the song much. I want to say Drake was on it too but i just don't remember. It did suck tho.

Wow this is awful

Thank God I listen to ICP, they'd never make a song this bad

BP3 was a weird era. It kinda felt like Jay had closed the door on the hustler era of his career with AG. He had to move forward. Kanye had just done 808s which was an experimental album for the time, and the blog era was kicking off but not fully underway yet. Rocafella was dead at this point too.

I think Jay was kind of throwing different shyt at the wall to see what would stick on BP3.

I mean, Kingdom Come was basically a better album from getting past his hustling persona. It had club bangers, it was mature, and had some experimental shyt as well. BP3 just felt like a one of those old head rapper albums where they swear up and down that they still got it ,but the game left them in the dust. No different from when LL Cool J was trying to do gangsta rap shyt with "13 Shots to the Dome".

Mal is connected to jay via biggs, because biggs is Mal's actual brother.

rory knows hov adjacently because of that, Budden, and being in the industry.
I mean, that isn’t saying much. On a scale of celebrity, they’re pretty much nobodies. Kinda beneath him to care.
