I never said or acted like Jay is beyond reproach or hasn't done ignorant things. It just so happens that there weren't any elders in the game to school Jay and his generation on their ignorance. Rakim, krs, Kane and them wasn't in a position to give Jay financial/economic advice when dude was in his "ignorant shyt-flossin stage" but Jay is in that position to advise these new younger generations and they should take heed. You're basically saying "don't try and school these cats and help them out, let them stay dumb/ignorant so they can have fun."
