if y'all missed this one earlier....

A blendtape commemorating the 25th anniversaries of Jay-Z's 'Hard Knock Life Vol.2' + the Black Star debut. These albums are complete opposites (both sonically & thematically), which is why I wanted to see what the combination would sound like. Hov's street raps over Black Star's jazzy instrumentals??? Counterintuitive, but it works IMO. What y'all think?

Yeah Jay fukked up not using these. You've actually managed to make Kingdom Come sound dope

In the end I'm glad he didn't end up using them bc Clipse floated on those beats......but it goes to show you how Kingdom Come would've been a better album with better production
