Dummies haven't been paying attention. Jay has made a lot of sales lately to get his cash up. That's also why he is selling dusse. He will have enough cash and leverage to own a significant portion a team. Prob 10% to 25%. Ane That's a big deal.
jay's net worth is 1.3 billion (per the internets) ....so you think he's liquidating and selling off half his net worth to put up $600M up for a 10% stake (team is expected to sell for $6B)? and his entire net worth, forget cash, def aint enough for 25%

Jay Z "partnering" with the riches man in the world...lol...
You bring up "freeing guys from jail for fun"..
His partner literally "leaves the earth for fun"..🤣🤣🤣

This isn't hating it's literally Jay-Z is not needed other than being a puppet..

Go build with Oprah, Diddy, Dre, Beyonce...all those who love to remind black people they are black billionaires...
They could’ve connected and Bezos wants to this with someone he fukks with. Or he might be shiesty.

Being a puppet is your go to, but there’s like 20 different scenarios is what I’m saying, puppet being one of those.

When you are rich, and a clout chaser, chances are that you’d do stuff to align yourself with the cloutiest.

It’s just to look at how Kraft, Rubin and them dikk ride Baby, Meek, Jay etc

I don’t see why posters are reacting negatively to this.

The only person who would have ANY right to feel a way about this news (if its true) is Colin Kaepernick
because it's theater. if the NFL wanted black ownership, they'd be amenable to a GROUP buying a team, not individuals (yes, there are minority owners with individuals, but they want majority stakes to be 80%+). it just doesnt move me to see an announcement that realistically means jay might have a 1-5% stake. i'd love to see him + a group of ~10 other high net worth blacks go in for a majority stake, that would be awesome to know a team is majority black owned, not adding him to a squad of white investors to trot out as some sort of consolation prize for blacks

He's a worldwide superstar, so yes he means something. If you have a black owner like Jay Z who is popular, you gonna attract more sponsors because you will have a positive image of diversity. We live in a woke society now.
MJ don't have that cool black entrepreneur image and he became owner at a time when no one gave a fukk
we don't, and the NFL certainly doesn't

its called financing. He wouldnt need all cash dummy. Thats why he could put up more than 600 million of he wanted.

so what's dope about having a black mascot for virtue signaling diversity purposes when we know it's bezos's team and money?
Why have u decided that jay will be a mascot for diversity purposes? Why can’t he own 10-15% of the team and Bezos the rest?

You have chosen to view this through a certain lense and that’s on you…I choose to view this as a nice opportunity for a black family to own a sizable part of an nfl franchise and pass it on to their black kids

1. It's his history.
2. Like Dora said, so you think he has the cash and credit to put up 600M for 10%? If he did, is that a smart decision to tie up half his net worth on a football team?
3. Bezos needs no partners, he can buy the team and make the money back in a year, maybe less. What other purpose does Jay serve?

If Jay did put up 600 for 10%. That 10% is 600 million. And football teams only increase in value. So that 10% in 5 years could be worth 800-900 million if not a billion

He won’t make 6 billion back in a year lol

1. His history of what exactly? The nets thing was mutually beneficial and he’s grown his wealth substantially since then.

2. Yea investing in an nfl franchise is about as safe a bet as u can make…who’s losing money owning an nfl team?

3. Jay has a relationship with the nfl and nfl owners and athletes…why do u assume he brings nothing to the table?

Again why would anyone see this and immediately go the negative route unless u just a hater…at least let things play out
