This is a fair argument. But I cud argue Vol. 2 Jay had a better flow. Lyrics may not have been as potent but not far behind RD.

Still...if u hear early Kane, Nas and Redman, they sound on par with their first album. Pre RD Jay was like a 3 then he became 4.5 in a flash. Only other person I see do that was GFK.

^^Jay was made to rip those smooth Clark Kent type joints..........shyt like this and coming of age, etc. by the time Sauce Money dropped his LP Clark had become such a wack producer.....shyt made no sense. he was one of the main reasons middle finger u was mediocre

I really want to see the GZA and LL 1s. I gotta see what kind of pocket GZA and LL was in.

LL walking off could've been 1 of too things if true; frustrated or laughing cause he could't believe Jay was coming with some shyt if Jay was spitting fire.

They say LL never said a bar, Jay stepped to him outside a club and started battling him and LL basically brushed him off on some "Get signed first little nikka" lmao
