But still..that B-Side concert is lowkey dope..he should make this a mouthy thing and have artists do this same type of thing. Now that MIGHT make me subscribe...MIGHT..
I wish Em would do something like this..
Instead of being a strong power move, Tidal’s turning into a PR nightmare for Hov and a blemish on the record of someone regarded as the archetype for business success in rap. In terms of things that didn’t pan out as expected, Tidal’s pushing its way to the top of the list, right up there with Kingdom Come and Memphis Bleek.
Update: Hold the presses. Apparently the price increase is only if you purchase via Apple’s App Store. The subscription price is still the same – $9.99 and $19.99 – on Tidal.com. Bleek, your position now remains unchanged.
Honestly about 2 days ago I was thinking it be dope for Jay to do a concert with of songs he doesn't perform (ie Brooklyns Finest with letting the crowd do the Big verses)
However I'm not paying $20 a month just to see it. I think its a smart move but the fact remains like many have already said someone will put it online. I like the idea of tidal but a $20 price point I pay that for Netflix and Hulu plus
Jay ARGUABLY has a stronger album-cut catalogue than any other rap artist ever...not counting Drake or YeThis thread reminded me of all the straight heat Jay has released…shyt I completely forgot about
it's probably for the $20 tier (im assuming)Then pay for the $10 version instead
