I felt like Kanye spent 15 years diving further and further into his own issues. More of a slow burn than one moment. But maybe that's because I was a lot more of a Kanye fan than a Jay-Z fan so I denied the evidence for too long.

What do you think the moment was? Cause he kinda started acting a fool even before Late Registration and Graduation came out but I don't any of us realized how discombobulated he was until at least 08/09 and even in 2018 he was out there trumping anything he had ever done before.

Thats a flex. Beyonce was doing background vocals for trash rappers pre Jay Z. Her getting with Jay is what elevated her.

Nope. Beyonce was on her way to be a global icon. Destiny Child was know worlwide. When she went solo, it was a wrap. Jay-Z or not, she was on her way to the top. Jay was a rapper that reached his peak; Beyonce was becoming a global pop reference. Jay caught her at the right moment...

In term of clout and fame, Jay benefited more from their union than she did. Marrying Jay-z did not add fame for her (people who about Jay, knew about her). Jay-Z marrying her added to his fame/clout. For a lot of these average white soccer mom, Jay-Z was and still is Beyonce's husband.

She helped Jay-Z getting into her world (global pop world). She did not need Jay to be in his world (Hip-Hop/RnB) since it was also her world.

It was two incidents. One was the infamous stage meltdown. And there was another incident just before that, which I can't remember at the moment.

If I'm not mistaken, the TMZ moment was far after that and was more of a "final call, last check verification" than anything else.

I’m not gonna ignore all the good he’s done in the past to benefit people. I’m sure he’s done more than we’ll ever know. I appreciate how he doesn’t make all his philanthropy public like jj watt.

With that said, I’m gonna leave J alone. He was my favorite back in the day but I can’t really fukk with his discography like that. His “cool” made them albums seem better than they were. And the more I learn about him the cornier he is. I find myself listening to nas albums front to back while skipping songs on J’s albums. I gotta put this brotha in ignore before I bush all his shyt.
