Anyone notice the contrast between the flow he uses on "BAM" vs when he's rapping from the perspective of Shawn Carter ?
Jay-Z is smooth, controlled and filled with confidence while Shawn is a less controlled style focused on getting his point across over pushing a cleanly delivered studio friendly verse. Even
how he projects his voice changes and
I totally believe this was on purpose adding another layer to this already dope album.

Dope use of flow and further cements the difference between Jay-Z the rapstar and Shawn Carter the husband and father.

Killed Jay-Z (for the second time and still brought him back to show the difference).

again its very smoove..a easy listen with slick bars..nothing seems forced like his last album

nikkas gonna kill me with this next comment but don't get it twisted....this album reminds me of some Lil B shyt in a sense where he's just flowin over the beats...there are many pauses a lot of shyt his verses are straight stream of conscious and I love it because he's showin these young nikkas again how you suppose to do it..thats the only reason why i brought up Lil B

you take a thought and build off of it and black out...these nikkas are literally thinking in a loop and its regurgitated when they rap .if nikkas aint gonna write they need to work on their stream of consciousness...and its sad because most of these nikkas are high as fukk yet producing poor quality lyricism...it doesn't even have to be complex to come off dope

Hov in rare form spitting on this shyt but is there a video attached to this? People were saying that's why that actor Ali was a boxer in the commercial.
