It was a hit tho, his first and perhaps only hit. The album did about as well as you'd expect given the struggles Jay Rock has had to go thru in terms of legal battles that prevented him from releasing music. The album was good and had plenty of tracks that work live. It's the album Jay Rock needed 5 years IMO (but of course he couldn't release music at that time).

That was a platinum single off a monster soundtrack with a dope video.

It was the perfect set up for his album. How did it go to waste?

Good to see this track get a video, it's crazy it took this long. Still no video for "Redemption" either.

Top 5 album this year with Weather or Not, Victory Lap and Daytona. 5th spot is reserved for Oxnard.
