It's ok. Jay is dope, shyt is like a relay race. The hook is dope. I just dislike Future's voice switch up and the beat switch which sounds like a car crash.
I feel bad for Jay Rock. First he had to deal with the Warner/Strange Music legal shyt which delayed his career. Then TDE embarrassed him with that weird pre-order gimmick. Then the album came out and disappointed, with him doing weird voices like Kendrick and having wack appearances by the newest TDE signee (Lance Skiiwalker).
Every IG snippet from this new album has sounded dope...but instead of getting his own single they put him on this track and threw it out. So it's his official single but the Black Panther album is getting the most shine. Just weird cross promotion that only seems to benefit the soundtrack. How is this his single yet the lyrics are clearly about the movie (especially Kendrick's part)? Come on.
