I play it pretty often, but it honestly could have been better, not enough tonal shift after like the first few tracks so it's just reflective, smooth, sad, dark sounding songs for the majority of the album.
went to spin this back after listening to "redemption" for the past 5-6 days. , forgot how clean this shyt was. i can live with rock being overlooked, hasn't stopped him from being consistent as all hell. if this era embraced "gangsta" rappers who weren't also depressed, skinny jean wearing fags, he'd be much bigger (same for nip, gibbs, and even meek to an extent)
