Universal acclaim from cacs
I know its a running Coli joke and all, but seriously. This is the only place I've heard criticism from the album.
Every music magazine acclaimed the album.
Youtube album reviewers.
People on the street.
He had tracks that got radio play, club play, chanted at protests.
Grammy nominations, performances on all different venues.
I have yet to have heard any of this criticism other than in The Booth.
shyt is like the Twilight Zone in here.
nikkas are like, "He's trying too many different styles." "He's only appealing to cacs by using jazz, soul, funk, classic hip-hop producers and writing about the Black man's plight in America." But in the same thread you'll hear brehs praise Future and Young Thug.
I understand trolling, its fun sometimes.
But in all seriousness, the album was good, period.

Jealousy is a muhhhh.

See Jay Electronica was supposed to be in Kendrick's spot....

But since he wants to dikk around on Xbox all day and waste peoples time that isn't named Mountain Dew, he is just that one guy.

Cool rant. No one will care in 2 weeks. I mean who really cares to get dissed by a rapper who doesn't even rap?

HE CANT EVEN TAKE A "GOOD" PISS< LET ALONE MAKE "GOOD" MUSIC BWAGAGAHAHAHA
J Cole continues to disappoint me every year and why i keep giving his albums chances is beyond me

hes nothing but potential really, nikkaz first few mixtapes better than all his albums tbh

Warm Up>>>>anything else hes ever released

he takes no artistic risks, plays it safe, and thats why he comes off just generic and uninspired as fukk

Critical acclaim :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol: nobody was fukking with that weed plate.

Except for every major music magazine in the country. I liked the album, I dug the concept. I do think he tried to hard to make his sound eclectic though. And because of that the album doesn't flow well at all. But in regards to lyrical composition, his pen game was bar to none .

I thought the tempo and unorthodox production on Born Sinner was hella risky. No features, no trends, and the whole album was dark. He could have went a different pop route, but chose to stay in his own lane. Honestly that's what makes good music.
