What reason is there to criticize Tomlin? That's like saying (so and so) is afraid to criticize Pete Carroll.
Steelers fans were a fumble away going in on Tomlin.

1) Black people did not create Political Correctness.
2) Black people do not have the power to enforce Political Correctness.
3) Other minority groups benefit from same thing. Media is also scared to criticize Ron Rivera because he's Mexican.

Whitlock is dead wrong..
Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of criticisms of Tomlin (believe me, if you follow the Steelers week by week, season by season, you would too) but he is not coddled because he's black. There is a big segment of Steelers fans that CANNOT STAND Mike Tomlin, and have good reasons. Granted a lot of that is quiet now because we're in the second round of the playoffs for the first time in years, but it's still seething right under the surface. Nationally, he doesn't get any heat because the team has never been bad under him. Not because he's black - that's a ridiculous argument
