Not really. KG in no way bounced on his team in his prime to go play with Pierce. He put 12 years in over in Minnesota and Minnesota was ready to rebuild. People were saying at the time KG was
too loyal, if anything, to the T-Wolves. Allen wasn't a superstar on the level of the guys talked about in this thread and the Sonics were about to rebuild as well. Both were trades. There weren't any "Trade me or I'm leaving" threats from either one. Boston was aggressive in going after both players. I don't have a problem with super teams and how they form, but the Celtics did do it in a somewhat more traditional way. And I'm a Knick fan.
