Unless a player is shooting 40% from 3 consistently, I don't understand the logic in shooting that many 3's. Anthony Edwards would average 30 a game if 1/2 his shots wasn't 3 pointers.
and even if you shoot 40% (edwards is shooting 39%), you limit your overall output. Despite all of the 3's Curry takes, he's only averaged 30 twice in his career. He's leading the league in 3 pointers made this year but is only averaging 24 a game. What makes Curry great is the timing of when he shoots/makes 3's. And it can't really be duplicated.
