Back in 2001, i was young and in a funk. The ignant era was in full swing and that shyt felt draining. At one point, shyt almost ruined me until i decided to create my own lane without seeking approval or validation from folks to confirming what i thought. I wasnt rocking with bet and a lot of the music at the time but at the same time, i was careful to point out the difference behind the reason why i had an issue with it vs cosigning some piece of shyt like bill o'reilly and his reasons. Basically, you got folks being ignorant not realizing theyre destroying themselves. The lack of knowledge and celebration of self destruction and dysfunction. In other words. I sought the positivity and created something for myself around the time when there wasnt readily available created by someone else. When are people going to just do shyt for themselves instead of complaining and giving these pieces of shyt more shine by giving them more attention. Keep in mind, kanye west biggest selling point has been that hes created an anti thug lane that people can feel cool just being squares in. Thats within the last 20 years. Folks forget what the world was like in the early 2000s.
Folks know shyt stinks out here and scared to do what makes them happy.
