Ok this was way too generic. The biggest problem we have is the lack of access to capital. The majority of do not have the type of money to do what he wants to do. We don't necessarily need a big grocery store if we have small mom and pop shops that are close to each other. I do agree we need to buy land.

you get it.

That makes no sense. How can an economy work if people won't research for them selves. Secondly he held an event with loan officers and stuff for that specific purpose because a general podcast shouldn't include technicals. :russ:

and that isn't even happening.

all that other "code of conduct" stuff is nonsense. financial literacy is the only thing that matters at this point and all that other jazz is secondary.

I cant speak for JB or others, I`m speaking in general. I don't think any grown man should be looking to someone else as a leader. Typically the types who look at these youtube cats as end all be all authorities are those who have nothing thus live vicariously through them.

Has nothing to do with being a leader but if anyone is hanging on someone's every word then it needs to be addressed. Dude made a video marketing it as "building a Black economy" and I'm calling BS. Nothing more and nothing less. Just as dangerous is allowing people to be led in the wrong direction when you know the right way.

Nation building is a job for the black middle class. The irony is that they don't even tap into the extreme consumerism in our community. I watch older people claim to agree with Dr Clarke but never actually act on it. A bunch of damn liars.

Yep I have been saying this for years about black upper and middle class folks. They can invest in poor black neighborhoods even if it is just buying homes in poor black neighborhoods and renting them out to our people.

Too many times upper and middle class blacks use poor black neighborhoods to shop for drugs, buy cheap clothes and liquor, get hair cuts and weave or to score prostitutes and other illegal activity. Then turn around and talk shyt about the poor black folks in those communities while they use those same neighborhoods as their playgrounds.
