Jared Leto to Play Joker in Snyder Cut of Justice League

I've been hearing about this synder cut for probably over a year now and there's still not much clarity on what's happening. It's starting to feel like the expectation is gonna be so high that it's gonna be hard to beat.

I don't think the expectations are that high, it depends on who you ask. The reason for the hype is more about the circumstances surrounding the film than what we might actually see on screen.

- You have a set of fans who loved Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman (IMO Man of Steel is tremendous but Batman v. Superman is ehh Director's Cut is decent)

- These people wanted to see Snyder's vision play out.

- Whedon ends up taking over Justice League and changes everything and it's god awful.

- So now the people who wanted to see Snyder's vision play out are even more pissed because Whedon is a hack and did a hatchet job for a movie.

It's never been about the average movie fan really... because if you liked Man of Steel then maybe you'll like this too, if you didn't like Man of Steel then you definitely will not like this at all.

There are people posting in here that already have their mind made up that they aren't going to like it.

This is a situation that's never happened before. Many directors have had their movies butchered by others but not many have been able to go back and put out their original work.

As for "this is a whole new movie" crowd.. it's not. It's all the footage that Snyder originally shot when he was filming this plus some additional photography to fill in what he hadn't finished filming. They aren't new ideas, this is his original vision.

The reason we are seeing it is simple. Streaming is everything now. HBO MAX wants as much content as possible. So they let Snyder finish this.

I saw the scene, it's literally Jared Leto in Joker make-up. There's nothing "Mark Hamill" about the scene, he has no Joker voice. shyt is funny too because the camera frequently cuts to Batman looking like this while Joker is talking
