Big Japan's 9/20/21 show in the spoiler

Strong BJ vs Shuji Ishikawa & Yuya Aoki - BJW 9/20/21

Sadly we only get 5 of the 10 minutes this lasted (the first half is basically cut from the TV broadcast) so we only get the last half of the match. What we do get is what you expect from a sprint between these teams. Stiff strikes, and hosses doing hoss shyt.

Okami vs Kohei Sato & Kazuki Hashimoto - BJW 9/20/21

Good tag match, nothing out of the ordinary but an enjoyable 14 minute encounter.

Yasufumi Nakanoue vs Takuya Nomura - BJW Strong Heavyweight Title 9/20/21
(starts at the 1hr2min mark)

For some weird reason they edited out 4 minutes of the match, which was the transition from the early mat exchange to them throwing strikes and then basically doing an 8 minute sprint to close the match out. This has some of the excess I don't like in my wrestling (suplex trading, bursts of energy to hit a move) but considering what they were trying to accomplish with the match, it made sense to have it. LOVED Nomura doing Abe's octopus stretch to slow Nakanoue down, also loved how he set up his finisher, Young Gawd HAD to get a slap in to get the job done :banderas:

@Scottie Drippin @SubZeroDegrees @EL REY not a MOTYC but no doubt a satisfying match after such a long wait :blessed:

btw, @PlayerNinety_Nine were you able to watch some of the matches? What are your impressions on Nomura (and Abe for that matter) :feedme:

The first night of G1 in Korakuen had 664 attendance.

DDT had 713 in Korakuen a couple of days ago.

During the english telecast on NJPW World Kelly said all the tickets available were sold. So take that for what it's worth.....Maybe NJ wants to limit the fan access because of their horrible luck with COVID since the pandemic started.
