You really want to see Okada/Tana again though? Maybe its my bias against Tanahashi but its starting to get Cena/Orton levels of redundant. Good matches but done to death.
Do I want to see it? No. Is it going to be amazing? Yes. :ld:

Plus, it had to happen. Okada has to beat him in the Dome for the same reason Tana/Mutoh had to happen.

Hmmm the Tana/Mutoh comparison is curious because i definitely understand that as a pass the torch kind of match. I feel that Okada has the torch and has been running with it for a couple of years now. This seems to be a match built for a Iishi/Goto/Shibata/Honma id think

Tana had the torch and had been running with it for years, and Mutoh was almost a decade past his prime, but he never put over anyone on the way out so it had to be cemented that Tana was that guy. It's the same situation here but nowhere near as late. At WK2013 Tana won on the big stage, and this year Okada was the champ, but was in a semi-main event to Tana closing down the show again. This is the final stage of their rivalry. They'll be kept apart for years after this, just like Tana and Nakamura were.

I can see that but it was also at the expense of Nakamura being in the main event. I always looked at Tana/Naka/Shibata as the new musketeers so theyd be on equal footing but i guess not.

Nevertheless, i look forward to 30 min of piff in that one. The entrances should be amazing as well.

I don't follow it all that seriously because I drift in and out of wrestling with such irregularity but the division just looks to be getting better with Ibushi coming through too. Jarrett though? :upsetfavre: This cac continues to break paper guitars and not draw a dime. It'd be fun to see Shibata elbow the mother of shyt out of him though :ehh:

Jarrett hate :ld: The dude is respected worldwide, and as a businessman, I've never seen anyone badmouth him. It should be telling that he has business relations all over the world yet the only people that have anything negative to say about him are guys on WWE programming paid to carry out Vince's grudge :manny: The "Jeff is not a draw" thing is the most boring thing trotted out on the internet, and it all comes from Jeff holding Vince up for money, and getting it. If you're not a fan of his, cool, but I've found that most people who just dislike him off rip hardly saw any TNA during his major run (yet will criticize it anyway).

He started a company that had tons of downs, but if it weren't for him in the first place we as wrestling fans would've gotten NONE of the highs. Now he's bringing us NJPW on American PPV, and has ROH changing their policies to allow it to happen, and seems to be, with GFW, trying to push to get all the quality international stuff accessible to American audiences.

Jeff always gets a :salute: from me.

Booker T and Scott Steiner were right there with Jeff not being draws either, but there's no shade on them for it :ld:

I respect Jarrett's hustle, there's no doubting some of those great points you made, I've just never been a fan of his work and I don't think he ever really cut a good promo on top of the in-ring work in truth. I also have a bunch of respect for fukking that interview off at Over The Edge, amongst other things you mentioned but yeah... I was or am just not a fan of his work. I respect your opinion though my dude. Salute to you for giving your post that heart. You swung for him like he swings that guitar :obama:

His Double J Double M A promos and Daddy Jeff promos were great. Im actually fine with Jeff as long as he isnt a main eventer but he has ALWAYS been a good hand. Him vs Yoshi Tatsu just seems :what: to me though.

This. Jarrett was perfect as he was used at the end of his WWF and TNA runs: a midcarder with a bit of character to him. He is, as others have noted, a big fat zero as a main eventer, but can be more than decent when he's inhabiting the midcard.

And, as much as we hate the place, TNA's a place where wrestlers can make decent money outside of WWE and get TV exposure (Dixie's business polocies notwithstanding). That's a positive in my opinion. Also keep in mind that his other major wrestling venture, Ring Ka King, was actually a legitimate success (not just a vaguely, barely qualified one like TNA is by way of mere survival) that just wasn't continued for some reason (probably due to the lack of a real Indian Wrestling market to tour and make money off of). I'm interested to see where Global Force Wrestling goes, as it seems to not merely be a promotion (if it even is a promotion at this point), but a way expose international wrestling to American fans on a national stage.

Jarrett may not be a great (or even decent) main eventer, but he's done some good for wrestling (as well as introduced us to some truly awful elements of wrestling).

Absolutely and if you really look back, TNA's first year was glorious. The business model of $10 ppvs every week was brilliant (this was before streams were popularized). He always understood the business and the direction it should go and that should be commended.

TSC/LToMD
So how much of TSC will be on the Okada/Swagsuke bandwagon after Wrestle Kingdom? :pachaha:

shyt, how much Bullet Club merch will be sold in America after Wrestle Kingdom?
I'll admit, I'm not really on the puro steez like that, but Bullet Club got my interest, and the good/great wresting up and down the card has me hooked.
