Yuki Ishikawa vs Timothy Thatcher - wXw Ambition 10 3/9/19
wXw AMBITION 10 (2019.03.09) – смотреть видео онлайн в Моем Мире | Андрей Бочаров

@Honga Ciganesta here's the link if you still haven't been able to get one. The match starts at the 51 minute mark.

Yuki still has it :wow: the king of Bati Bati shows up against the dude that made mat wrestling cool again (in the indys) and bah gawd, he puts on a clinic. Thatcher did not held back with his strikes, dude was nailing Ishikawa with forearms, palm strikes and some nice body shots. He held his on own on the mat for the first 7 or so minutes, but as the match went along, Yuki just kept finding new ways to put him in really painful move, specially his legs. This went 14 minutes and it felt longer - in a good way - because they did so much. Loved the struggle for holds too. Must watch if you are into the style, specially because old man Yuki does not disappoint :myman:

What are the NJ Cup matches worth watching? If I don't start it soon I'm probably not going to watch any of it :francis:

Ishii/Nagata: Fun slug fest, would like to see Yuji loaned out to AJPW for a bit again to team with Uncle Jun and be rude as hell to some young dudes during G1 season.

Elgin/Okada: Pretty good, not quite up to their normal standard but I think that's because this match was longer than their G1 matches would normally be. I would have cut out 5-8 minutes and it would have been fire, because the last 5 or 6 minutes were super hot. Kind of wild how Elgin's career has fallen off: Persona non-grata in the US indies, went from being a featured gaijin on the cusp of breaking into the main event scene to pre-show battle royal and not even a NEVER contender. Maybe with The Elite gone he'll rise back up the card a bit.

Tanahashi/Red Shoes Junior: Pretty good, can't wait for Shota to do 2 years of nothing in ROH followed by a rocket push or getting put in a stable and doing nothing that I can complain about in 2023 :banderas:In all seriousness, hopefully they send him to Mexico instead of ROH so he can come back with some personality.

ZSJ/EVIL: Eh. Didn't do much for me.

Ibushi/Naito: Lol necks. This was kind of weird to me. Crowd was surprisingly to shockingly chill considering who was in it, there were a number of times they were just not on the same page at all, and Naito was looking :flabbynsick: as hell. I mean, everyone looks like trash next to Kota the aesthetics gawd, but Naito looks like he hasn't had a day in the gym since WK.

Goto/Sanada: Looool Goto is booked to be such a fukking loser it's amazing. The one thing he's historically good at, going deep in the NJ Cup, he can't even do anymore. Not only can he not win the big one, he can't even win the little ones to get to the big one. Dude desperately needs to either get sent to America for a while or get rehabbed in AJ or something.

Archer/Ospreay: Pretty good, reminded me of the AJ/Archer G1 match a few years back. Small heavyweight Ospreay seems to be on a roll, and big man vs little man matches are almost always better than two small guys flipping around each other. Archer is always reliable for some solid big man action when not stuck in garbage KES brawls.

Okada/Nichols: Nichols was the weak link of an already not particularly impressive team, did nothing to make me think otherwise even with 20 minutes against Okada. Just another boring white guy in New Japan. The best thing about him is how he lied to WWE to get out of his contract and burned a bridge to be an undercard guy in NJ :mjlol:
