God dammit, one minute I'm reading how "underwhelming" Kenny's reign is and the next it's :francis: that Tana winning might be too predictable :dead: at least no one can argue the fanbase thinks all equally:heh:

Tana signed a new deal. Gee, I wonder if he's going to win at WK.

He looks like Funaki in that picture :pachaha: :mjpls:

Anyone else think Shibata-Okada was a better match than Okada-Omega in 2017?
I have been saying that since the match happened and I think it's not that much of an unpopular opinion since it does get mentioned a lot. But Gedo went all in (no pun intended) on the Omega/Okada feud and Meltzer overrating their matches (quite literally) made that the narrative.

It's impossible to know what Gedo had planned for him after the match but if not for his injury, I think it would have at least cemented Shibata as a genuine top talent to the fans.

Strong BJ vs Ryota Hama & Yasufumi Nakanoe - BJW 11/27/18
Ryota Hama & Yasufumi Nakanoue vs. Strong BJ (Daisuke Sekimoto & Yuji Okabayashi)

BEST TAG TEAM IN THE WORLD IS BACK :blessed: :blessed: I fukking dare y'all not to have fun watching this match. It's pretty much a "best of" from their previous encounters and, specially in the case of Hama and Okabayashi, is such a joy to watch. Nothing overly complicated, the same ol' simple formula that works every damn fukking time with Strong BJ :ohlawd:
DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK :banderas:

Probably my MOTY for 2017. :wow:Match felt like a goddamn prize fight.

It's the last wrestling match I remember having that special feeling. We all wanted to see Shibata fight for the IWGP Title, most of us thought it would never happen. And when it did, boy did it deliver.

Shibata would've been a perfect invader. The new age Tenryu :wow::mjcry:
