God gives Harley Race the greatest match of his career and blesses us with another amazing performance. Every hold matters, Harley's no sell of the early (and dope, I need more people to do what God was doing) arm work can actually be explained, the mat work is possibly the best from non European wrestlers I've seen from this era, and the strikes are stiff as hell. It's a fukking human chess game with a whole bunch of struggle for control. Third fall has drama, blood and a whole bunch of pissed off people. Only bad thing about the match is the 3 minutes of lost footage were Harley takes over in the 1st fall and Harley being a moron with the leg selling at the end.

This isn't in Japan but I know this is a place were the brehs can appreciate this type of match @Beautiful Bobby Eatin add this one to your old school Funk matches



5 months later, God would gives another all time performance in the RWTL Final against Sheik and Abby truly, the GOAT US worker, it's not even a discussion to me at this point.

If you are curious about it, it's worth a shot. If you are a fan of the style, then it's a must have imo. There's a bunch of shows, thought I'd say they have a big one every month or so, depending on the tour they are having.

G-1 is about to start in August and every date will be on New Japan World.
