Doesn't seem they are out of NOAH though :francis:

There's a show tomorrow with the Tag titles on the line. Maybe they will lose them too and that will be the end.

However...

To add insult to injury, appeared that non of the SZKG came out to help their fallen leader. Kanemaru and Desperado were in the ring when Suzuki first loss, but were absent following the Sugi’s turn. Speculation begins that the group as a whole might be meeting its demise.

That's why I think it's not over. I posted the angle between Sugi and MiSu. He basically called the stable out and nobody came. I hope it's the end but I have zero confidence on it :francis:

Suzuki-gun lost all of their matches today.

(1) Muhammad Yone, Quiet Storm & Taiji Ishimori vs. Akitoshi Saito, Alejandro Saez & Yoshinari Ogawa
Winner: Yone (8:19) following the Funky Buster Bomb on Saez.
(2) NOAH vs SZKG: Kenoh & Hajime Ohara vs. El Desperado & TAKA Michinoku
Winner: Kenoh (9:51) following the Kibo on Desperado.
(3) NOAH vs SZKG: Atsushi Kotoge & Daisuke Harada vs. Taichi & Yoshinobu Kanemaru
Winner: Harada (9:38) with the Katayama German Suplex Hold on Kanemaru.
~ Kotoge aimed to show some sort of respect to Taichi with a handshake. Taichi did not accept as he patted the belt, looked to be a formal acceptance of the loss to the champion, on Kotoge’s shoulder instead.
(4) NOAH vs SZKG: Masa Kitamiya vs. Takashi Iizuka
Winner: Kitamiya (10:40) following a Saito Suplex.
(5) NOAH vs SZKG: Katsuhiko Nakajima & Hitoshi Kumano vs. Naomichi Marufuji & Kaito Kiyomiya
Winner: Nakajima (14:32) following the Vertical Spike on Kiyomiya.
~ Masa Kitamiya made the challenge for the GHC Heavyweight belt, Nakajima accepted.
(6) GHC Tag Championship Match: [35th Champions] Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr. vs. [Challengers] Go Shiozaki & Maybach Taniguchi
Winner: Shiozaki (21:11) following the Gowan Lariat on Archer.
~ K.E.S falls on their 1st title defense. Shiozaki and Taniguchi become the 36th generation champions.
~ 50 Funky Powers, Yone and Storm, made the challenge against the new champs.
(7) Special Single Match: Takashi Sugiura vs. Minoru Suzuki
Winner: Sugiura () following an Olympic Qualifying Slam.
~ Suzuki-gun with the complete shutout two days in a row as it looks that Suzuki will indeed withdraw from NOAH.
~ Marufuji came out to shake Sugiura’s hand, but Sugiura would not accept and declared himself as a lone wolf.

They ain't got over that shyt yet... :dahell:

Why should they? He was looked at being one of the cornerstones of the company (way ahead of Tana, who never was supposed to become the guy) and left them at their lowest, and for a good while there, NJPW looked like it was about to go into freefall like NOAH ended up doing. They were one more big exit or bad decision from looking like AJPW out here. But Tana saved the business, and they’ve been building back up ever since, and they’ve done it without Shibata on top.

And according to Tana’s interviews, Shibata is still ambivalent about the business. Shibata came into the lockerroom after he and Tana’s G1 encounter like “Now that’s the stuff that I love :blessed:” and Tana hit him right there on the spot like “You should love every day in this company :damn:

You’re not gonna get a run at the top when you’re hot and cold about wrestling, while at the same time there’s guys eat, sleeping, and bleeding the company AND they’re boosting the numbers.
