Cool shows, i'll definitely watch. My only issue is them burning out the uniqueness of the ROH/NJPW shows. They've already done WK10, the 2 shows this week, have the 2 shows coming next week, then a week later the 14th anniversary, then War Of The Worlds/Global Wars which i believe are 4 shows total this year if not more. Plus the Bucks, ReDragon, Elgin, & now the Briscoes are all gonna be pretty much NJPW half timers, like Omega will be in ROH.

They saying Cole was supposed to wrestle Shibata too but Cole can't make it

Alleged family/personal issue but i'm thinking it's something else cause dude has never been to Japan....at least since the talent share started

I agree doing it so much kind of ruins the specialness of it. Hopefully they can keep the matchups fresh. Theyre really going all out with this partnership.

I don't know about Cole but it sucks he's not there either way. No War Machine either, not that I'm complaining lol

JWA Collection 1957-1971

Japan_pro_wrestling_alliance+%281%29.jpg

Here it is brehs. JWA 1957-1971 collection. Full matches, history, and gifs.

Lou Thesz vs Rikidozan NWA Championship 10/13/57
Rikidozan vs The Destroyer 12/2/63
The Destroyer vs Toyonobori WWA Championship 2/26/65
Giant Baba vs Bruno Sammartino NWA International Championship 3/7/67
Giant Baba vs Gene Kiniski NWA International Championship 8/14/67
The Destroyer vs Giant Baba 3/5/69
Dory Funk Jr. vs Antonio Inoki 8/2/70 NWA Championship
Antonio Inoki vs The Destroyer 5/19/71
Jack Brisco vs Antonio Inoki UN Championship 8/5/71

Some CLASSIC stuff here. In every sense of the word. Can't overstate how big and important the Rikidozan matches were. Then you go all the way up to the Inoki/Brisco match, which was clearly Maeda's favorite match, and how that grew into MMA in Japan. The Destroyer is so great. Thesz was so great. Brisco was so great. Baba was fascinating to watch. There is so much greatness in this. Of all the stupid and depressing amount of wrestling I've watched, documented, and giffed in the last few years, I think this is my favorite thing.

Shibata and Redragon is such a sick team.

Hopefully with them doing all these joint shows we get some actual fueds out of it. It could be incredible if they do it well
