NJ also will hold a LION'S GATE show on February 25, in order to showcase their new talent as well as younger wrestlers from other promotions.

Hopefully this will go forward, unlike the NEVER initiative from years ago.

And before that there was LOCK UP. They always start a project for young lions but it's kinda unsustainable in today's business, it's still a good thing they keep having these initiatives though.

Man, if Kitamura shows promise it would be cool seeing him in the rebel rookie role on an important feud. Like Okada on the NOAH angle in 09'.

Let me find out he wasn't really injured and was just transitioning:francis:

I guess it was for some game show where they guess who the person is?:

That's the impression I get with him holding up his picture.

At first I was gonna say that Japan can be so weird, but I guess I could see Cena doing something like this, actually. I guess it just seems weird because Ibushi looks kind of fem already, so it takes on a different tone, lol.

:whoo:

Styles/Omega vs YOSHI-HASHI/Nakamura ended with Omega getting the pin on Nakamura, turning on Styles, stomping him out with the rest of Bullet Club. He gets on the mike and talks about how they let A.J. have all the big matches but that time is over, Styles is NOT the leader anymore, Omega is NOT a Jr. Heavy, and Omega will be challenging Nakamura. Omega then hits the Styles Clash assisted by Young Bucks super kicks and leaves. Styles gets up and bows to the crowd.

I just woke up to this. Not sure what else has happened, but
Kenny kicking AJ out and going after Naka
shows me things will be just fine.

Next up in the main event scene looks to be
Okada vs. Goto

Briscoes main eventing the show after WK10...defending the NEVER 6-man titles against Fale and Young Bucks. Still more fukkery potential...

Had to go look at a result page but
Bushi will be challenging KUSHIDA for the Jr. Heavy title.

@MightyHealthy January is my month of insomnia, watching NJPW live is basically prep work for the Australian Open :pachaha:
