I never saw a FMW show... did i miss out fmw fukkery

FMW used to have crazy deathmatches and they packed in gigantic stadiums with 40-50k in their heyday.



They even had their women's division doing deathmatches




The Onita/Hayabusa match at the end is pretty damn good

fukking love this match Kudo was such a badass

Onita really was incredible, I mean he was pretty limited but he knew exactly what to do an when to do it (a little like Hogan) and his charisma was off the charts. Not many dudes are fukking with his drawing record either.

I wish I saw more FMW beyond the TokyoPop releases, Megumi Kudo was always the highlight of those DVDs

I'm still shocked Onita's still doing deathmatches in front of such small crowds at Korakuen and Shinjuku Face, why is he even still trying

I know for myself, and i'm sure thousands of other brehs, that the most common introduction to japanese wrestling is garbage wrestling and lightweights. I remember buying several tapes back in 98, ranging from best of Hayabusa, to super j cup 94, best of liger, best of ultimo dragon, best of fmw, to best of chris benoit
