Goto champ? Wow.

They really just gave ZSJ a holdover reign to get the title off Naito ASAP though.
Everyone getting "thank you" title reigns :bryan:

If business wasn't in the shytter, the young guys would've left to another promotion or started their own at this point :heh: but with the way things are, they have no other choice but to keep waiting and hope they can spark anything when they are finally given the ball.

Always felt he never really went up a level as an engaging performer. His potential always seemed more than just a good hand/worker, but it never clicked beyond that in New Japan.
United Empire has fallen apart ever since NJPW lowballed Aussie Open.

Don’t think Cobb would necessarily be someone they should bring in given he is 42 and a midcarder, though I wouldn’t be upset if it did happen.

How the fukk is this thread so damn quiet??!! :mindblown:

It happened, it really happened :wow:

17+ years after he showed the world he could be the main champ :mjcry:

12+ years after everyone (except @The Rainmaker) gave up on the idea that he would ever really win it.

15 years since Nakanishi got his thank you reign.

Gedo did something, I finally can give him props :wow:

What was this music the Young Bucks came out to? Is that their old New Japan music? It’s been so long since they were in New Japan prior to this year that I can’t even remember what they used there before.

Oleg Bolton hasn’t shown much of anything as far as character work and charisma in what I’ve seen, but that man has a bright future based on the in-ring

Looks like the Bucks have put in the work to tone up their bodies since they were last in AEW. They aren’t back at peak form by any means, but they aren’t doughy anymore either.

Heavyweight Hiromu spamming cross body blocks :russ:
