I think doing all this is crazy but why should she put her best effort into music anymore?? Her best albums didn’t sell well either and bullshyt is being pushed. Janelle Monae is legit one of the most talented people I’ve ever seen live. She might as well just have fun with it and do what she wants. People don’t even really care about music like that lol. Man I was watching the essence fest stream last night and they had Muni Long up there looking like she was doing rehearsals. Them wide shots showing empty seats was sad Af.

Ain't going to lie I feel some type of way about her because someone I trust had a close-up interaction with her out at a studio (they're also an artist) and let's just say they were a little disappointed. I low key saw a lot of this coming from around the early ~2010's when this incident happened based on what they told me.
Agree heavy that people def. don't care much about music like that anymore as well.
