Janelle Monae as an actress...

I thought she was pretty good in Moonlight. Not sure I've watched all of Hidden Figures and she seemed to be really good from what I remember.

However, watching her in Homecoming season 2 and Antebellum

How could anybody seriously consider her for Storm or any lead role. She's got a long way to go as actress.

She displays every emotion in the book in Antebellum and Homecoming. Say whatever you want about the projects, but she really exhibits great range. Superhero projects are bullshyt and people who are serious about acting view them as nothing more than a way to become popular, so I want to see her in a Blue Jasmine type role. People on here believe that Robert Downey Junior oughta have won an Oscar for Iron Man, though, so I expect no one to post anything insightful or noteworthy

Joaquin Phoenix and Heath Ledger won Oscars for the same comic book role. Don't put the award on any type of pedestal out of reach for a comic book story.

Yeah I only seen Moonlight and Hidden Figures with her. She was serviceable enough.
I don't like her for Storm because of her look/height mostly.

I disagree, he has showed a wide range in these movies.
Comedic, angry, upset, apologetic. Matter of fact finding out Bucky killed his folks is probably the best acting in the MCU.

I mean the MCU has had Anthony Hopkins, Robert Redford, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeff Bridges, Tommy Lee Jones, William Hurt, Angela Bassett none of them can act I guess. lol
We get it you think comic book movies or the MCU is less than. That isn't gospel just your opinion, sorry.
