And why are folks so focused on white people, and not the government? This is an issue we take to the government, not random white people.

You’re wasting time continuously explaining that we need reparations to white people. It needs to be analyzed by an economist, and taken to the government, and handled there, not demanded with emotions, and expecting people to care.

And withholding votes until it happens is useless. They don’t want us voting anyway.

And stop calling it “reparations”. We should be demanding our schools be improved, more business grants, tax exemptions, student loan forgiveness. Stop being so obvious about it, and focus on local and state levels first.

Systemic Racism, who control it, and the way it is executed will still be entrenched long after the compensation packages are rolled out. Yeah that breh was wrong about reservations but she never tried to meet in the middle per se about Black Folks getting some sort compensation before natives, like its inconceivable. Could it be semantics? yea. But time and time again we have seen even the most "good hearted" non black person get awfully shifty about Black reparations, which is convenient (and suspect).

Itd be one thing to argue that ALL Racial and Ethnic reconciliation is always done with bitterness/ulterior motives (remember The Indians got DRIVEN to reservations to keep them out the way for western expansion/the Jews got a land to keep them outta the Soviet Union, Israel only thrives because its used as a buffer state against Communism in the Middle East) and given historical precedent, reparations would be a half ass measure. BUt they never argue that point or even try to understand that Capital is the only language worth speaking in Capitalism and Blacks cant compete without a influx of resources into our communities.

Seems like her disconnect was that she kept trying to make reparations about this large umbrella of "People of Color" instead of focusing on black people.
So in her argument she seems to want to include every minority that has been oppressed in the US and then deal with whatever program of reconciliation based on the order in which those people were oppressed.

As I said earlier, militants don't actually want reparations. They just want to use this issue as a wedge to drive between potential alliances that could be able fight systemic racism. Their whole agenda, if they aren't actually cacs in disguise, is to get black people to adopt a black copy of white alt-right ethno nationalism. They have no actual solutions to systemic racism, they want to go back to segregation.

This whole reparations thing is only used to sow divisions and destroy alliances. If militants really cared about reparations, they'd know that you need to mobilize a coalition to push this shyt through and that not voting and constantly shytting on potential allies is the absolute worst way to achieve your goals. But they don't
