This.These new age wrestlers would rather get their shyt in, than make the shyt look real. A match like this should be on some demonic shyt then wrestling. The wrestling moves should be the epitome of rest holds while the fist and plunder needs to be the star of these types of matches. Promoters need to have a FMW/Memphis tape class for wrestlers who are trying to do hardcore matches
Whoa...Taz had some great FTW title defenses in ECW. Brian Cage should be defending the FTW belt now, and Playboy Starks should be the TNT champ.

X Division match was good. KO match was surprisingly solid too considering Taya usually is pretty bad. Absolutely not watching fukking Dreamer/Rhino/EY in 2021.
Matt Striker is better than Josh Matthews but god he's still so fukking annoying. Count up how many times he said "it's a call back to...". Bro, that's not how you do commentary. Let the wrestlers tell the story and fill in the blanks, not just hammer it in your face. I was also baffled when he called the crossface a variation of the Regal Stretch. Also annoyed to shyt that D'Lo said "bob wire" every fukking time
Glad Moose finally decided to give a shyt about aesthetics and cut a lot of that flab. Main event was pretty good and did what it needed to do, which was keep the AEW vs TNA thing going as well as intra TNA stuff going for when Kenny isn't there. Lol'd that they were all wearing Bullet Club gear but Matt and D'Lo absolutely would not say Bullet Club. I'm sure they're really pushing right up to the line of cease and desist orders from NJPW.
No idea why they're going back to Sami vs Eddie but I never want to see either of them again.

i said in another AEW thread that they fumbled the FTW belt. Cage should have been screwed out of a win against Mox. He then should have been given the FTW belt and declared the real champion, including defending until he finally gets a match with the world champion. The way Moose got the title was goofy, but he is legitimately making the title mean something by defending it and going after the world title. Cage is just stuck on Dark beating jobbers

They had crowd noise at the show but no crowd...
Striker and DLo had some bumps along the way but they were a million times better than Josh and Madison Rayne were.
Was pleasantly surprised to see Hogan and Steel win the KO tag titles; I swore they were going to let them chunky white broads win.
I cannot express just how little of a damn I give about Matt Cardona.
Eric Young is so good as the evil leader of a heel group.
Chris Bey is the truth and I completely understand why he signed with TNA even though Cody was showing interest in him. He would've been lost in the shuffle in AEW while he's been a focus of the X-Division since he arrived in TNA.
Rohit is a very underrated wrestler.
I only ever care about TJ Perkins when he's wearing a mask or tagging with Fallah Bahh.
Deanna Purazzo and Kimber Lee in their street clothes are hilarious! They be looking like Real Housewives of Wildwood, NJ.
And I like the nostalgia factor of 70% of TNA's women wrestlers having 1980s lady wrestler physiques.
That armbar that Deanna won with was ugly though; had me like

Sami Callahan and Eddie Edwards were on some Raven vs Dreamer steeze in their match.
That intro that Cyrus the Virus gave Kenny was ridiculous.
And Kenny wore The Bullet Club shirt...that Tongan bruh in Japan gonna be pissed.
The biggest takeaway for me from the main event is that I want to see Moose vs Kenny Omega in a singles match. I also noticed that Kenny ended up taking most of the brunt of Team TNA's offense.
And I'm shocked that Kenny and them won since I was assuming that one of The Good Bros was going to take the pin. Def didn't expect Kenny to pin Rich Swann...wonder if this is setting up a champ vs champ match where Kenny adds the Impact belt to his collection for a little while.

Moose built different. Man was out there moving moving. I think in that match it was clear that Kenny was showcased as being able to beat Swann whenever but Swann's team was only just delaying the inevitable. I'll be shocked if Swann retains the TNA title once the one on one match happens.
