I enjoyed this flick......
Acting was very muted and real....the characters were imposing and threatening without being over the top caricatures

I know this takes place in Cali but this was filmed in the prison my nephew was staying in and i can guarantee Whites are not the majority in New Mexico prisons

not from america. but thinking about it whites in the usa don't have the juice in crime like in other countries where they are also the majority population wise. it's because of the mexican border. latins have always had the juice in terms of the coke and heroin game. like in the late 70s-80s them fresh off the boat columbians bum rushed the drug game like they had cheat codes on. now its the mexicans because them columbian cartels have more restrictions on them than the early days.
in the uk whites run the coke game. turks and pakistanis hold their own in the heroin game because they can ship it over from their home countries. but it's not on the level of the latinos in the usa because of the difference in distances making it harder to bring the work over.

I think the point of the fast turn is because he knew if he stopped hed either be killed or his family killed. I figured out his end game in the middle of it but love how it turned out.
It hurt that he couldnt tell his family why but he wanted them to move on. Sad flick
Was the mexican he saved setting up the hit with shotgun a subtle way of just saying theirs no loyalty in the game? I believe so. Very subtle movie like poster said above. Bottles was scary as fukk and never raised his voice.
