Introduction of MJ but no Goblin?
Gwen has to die.
Gwen has to die.
This is a reboot so none of that shyt matters. And yeah Lizard was the main villain but Kingpin is'nt really considered a Spidey villain he's more of a Daredevil problem it just so happens that the Kingpin is based in NYC and DD and Spidey both claim it.So let's see here...
Movie 1- Green Goblin/Macho Man Randy Savage
Movie 2- Dr. Octopus
Movie 3- Green Goblin 2/Venom/Sandman
Amazing- Lizard-Man (I haven't seen it, I'm guessing he's the only villain)
So based off that, Electro is the first guy they can think of dedicating a movie to? Is this the "Ultimate" Electro? Does that mean we get Kingpin as well?
Comic Book fans, you know more than I, so correct me if I'm wrong but......shouldn't KRAVEN be getting a movie?

What's the difference in these characters? Isn't electro basically shocker without arm gadgets?
Seriously tho, they chose a whack character if this is true, but spideys villains are all kinda
Max Dillon, a former electrical engineer, gained the ability to manipulate electricity after being struck by lightning while working on a power line. Transforming himself into a living electrical capacitor, Electro is now one of Spider-Man's deadliest enemies. Given the large amounts of lightning in the post-credits scene, it would make complete sense if the silhouetted man turned out to be Electro.
so apparently the dude in the after credits scene is electro...dont know how theyre gonna flip this into jamie foxx playing him

When last we heard from Jamie Foxx, he was crossing his fingers that he would be cast as Electro in Amazing Spider-Man 2. Foxx’s four year old daughter was a big Spider-Man fan, so Foxx had said she would go crazy if he got the role.
In an unusual move, Sony/Columbia Pictures has officially confirmed that Jamie Foxx is a part of the Amazing Spider-Man sequel, via a press release announcing another actor being cast. While announcing that Dane DeHaan had been cast as Harry Osborn, Columbia Pictures noted that he would be joining fellow cast members Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx and Shailene Woodley.
While Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are returning cast members and it had already been reported Shailene Woodley was joining the cast, Jamie Foxx’s role in the Amazing Spider-Man had never been officially confirmed until the press release. Considering that Jamie Foxx is an Academy Award winning actor, one would think that his casting would have gotten its own official press release from Sony.
Either Sony assumed that everyone already knew that Jamie Foxx was going to land the Electro role or in a rush to get out a release after director Marc Webb spilled the beans about Dane DeHaan on Twitter, they forget that Jamie Foxx had never officially been confirmed. Regardless, it looks like Foxx’s four year old daughter is going to be going crazy.
Looks like it's officially official
