Now I didn't go around asking them which parent was white, but when they told or I found out, there were patterns. It's at a point where I can tell by how they act. This is only for biracials in cac spaces though. Biracials in the Black spaces I frequent either hide their parents or don't bring up their biracial. >>>> I got extended family who do this. Its my personal experience. I grew up in Jewish burbs in north jersey. I had a lot of biracial peers. I'm in the white corporate world and the biracials here are pretty much the same I went to hs and college with.

it’s all about socialization.

Here in the Pacific Northwest I am pretty sure the majority of the “ADOS/Black people” here are mixed race (with non-black mothers) and they typically procreate with other mixed race people/black men. this happens because most mixed race people here are very blue-collar and go to school/live in more diverse districts.

In your case the mixed race people that you interacted with were probably upper to middle-class and therefore around more white people. They were socialized to date Cacs.

if there ever was a statistic I think it would reflect that mixed girls with black mothers tend to date out more. I think that maybe because black women who marry out/procreate out tend to come from higher economic and educational ladders so the pool of eligible black men is a lot smaller (assuming they even like black men as they probably grew up in mixed race communities). and because they make more , they raise their families in whiter communities
