No need to give him the Max he's replaceable. OKC even knew this and thats why Ibaka got the 4 years.

I wouldn't give him the max. hell naw. I always thought that if it came down to it, they should choose Ibaka over Harden.

If he leaves OKC and goes somewhere where he'll likely be option #1, he'll get exposed like Miami did to him in the finals

He's not worth it,but it wouldn't surprise me one bit if a team like the Pistons offered him the max next year and force OKC's hand. He's not worth it but they will be definitely one of the teams spending money next year..

Maybe the Hawks also .Not 100% sure they will have the cap room though.

Yeah, THAT'S the solution. :childplease:

You don't want Westbrook and Evans on the court at the same time.

I didn't even like that deal myself. In hindsight they should of thought about moving him to the WIZ FOR Beal and something.

Some team will proly offer him the 4 year max or something like that or maybe on of those back loaded contracts like Lin got. If im the Thunder i do everything within my means to keep him. U can always trade him or Ibaka if Perry Jones pans out.

the only comparable young SG in the league to compare his worth is eric gordon. well if eric gordon got the max, that means james harden will get something close to it.

teams with cap space than need SG's. It's not like there are many good SG's in the league as is, so someone will look to pay Harden that kind of money. It's a reason why a guy like Eric Gordon got maxed out.

close to it? Nope. He's getting maxed out. It's just a matter of who's going to pay. If he was on another team, someone would have offered him the 5 year max already.

harden definitely doesnt deserve a max deal. he looked helpless in the finals. i dont think eric gordon deserved a max either but he's a better player than harden when healthy and has more potential

Eric Gordon is better than James Harden.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook make James Harden look better than he is as a player.

I couldn't imagine him being the "star" player on a team.

Monta Ellis is the 3rd best shooting guard in the league for real:win:
