I’m reading other forum communities and Twitter.

The same people that call for other people to be fired over social media comments because they were made by someone they don’t like are now falling over themselves to defend and excuse Gunn.

It’s not the same mob. Outrage culture has become weaponized. Gunn is being targeted by a different mob using this as nothing more than as they see it, a revenge tactic.


And Gunn was in on that mob that is now defending him. He’s just being attacked by the one he always goes after.

The mob mentality is very very selective in its outrage. The amount of people defending Gunn would be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic. And we all know why they are.

Oh I agree with that,but you play in the mud you’re going to get dirty as they say. You want to get on a soap box like he does you better have nothing to hide. This is the exact same situation he himself is fine with.

At the end of the day nobody is really that angry or outraged about his tweets. This is just ugly modern mob justice. The pile on behaviour where people are irrationally out to hurt and destroy people’s lives.

It’s disgusting that we’ve come to this point in society. All of this is so transparent. People found a way to hurt people they don’t like and agree with. So when I see people like Gunn and others defending him that have stoked these flames and helped create this social mob justice I just have to sit back and laugh as the fire catches them and they act so shocked and surprised it could happen to them so quickly.

And none of this will cause self reflection on a mass level. They’ll just search for revenge. And round and round we go.

Normal everyday people get fired for saying stupid, bigoted, or flat out repulsive things so . If you're going to be an edgelord on the internet don't act shocked when it fukks up your money and employment opportunities. They'll most likely just put Taika in charge of Guardians 3 and it will be fine (maybe even better)
