I seen the episode on line recently of Good Times where jj was working with the dude from Colors as the bookkeeper (the tall black guy with the jheri curl that was running with Frogg and the Latin Kings). It made me think of this thread. Anyway the dudes were running numbers and drugs etc. And had this policeman in they pocket. JJ was buying expensive gifts and basically drawing attention to himself. The deal breaker for Florida was when JJ bought this big ass TV she asked where he was working and found out where and what he was doing. In the episode she cut him off. I gotta find the name of the episode and post a good link. It's a season four episode.
