I like Cagney and dude was definitely versatile as all hell as a performer but Robert Mitchum would like to have a few words with the OP.

he's really risen up my ranks since this thread was made and i've seen a lot of his flicks
i think a bit of both. but it was the priest he did a solid, not bogartDo you think he died a p*ssy or did he throw Bogart's character a solid?
Cagney always gets the best of Bogart in those films though.looks like i'll be watching petrified forest, roaring twenties and white heat during the week
edit: and speaking of cagney, never seen anything with him in it but my girl watches TCM all the time and they had one of those glowing pieces on him the other day
that was my least favorite bogart role so far..and he had one scene with awful overactingCagney always gets the best of Bogart in those films though.
I hate that.
Yeah thats when Bogart wasn't leading man status yetthat was my least favorite bogart role so far..and he had one scene with awful overacting
Out of the Past is the quintessential film noirI like Cagney and dude was definitely versatile as all hell as a performer but Robert Mitchum would like to have a few words with the OP.

either way i really enjoyed it..will cop if it ever hits blu-ray
I think he went out like a bytch. He was walking tough until he got to that chair and reality hit
he was acting breh.. he cared for the priest that was his boy since they were little so he did it so the angels would stop idolizing the gangster lifestyle
