If his jumper is off, his limitations become much more glaring. Can’t bully ball like Brunson, not really a defender, can’t get to the rim/finish consistently. Part of that is injuries, but he’s also always injured

Without a big to play PnR with, he was lost/useless out there.

I will say though, he didn’t really have a good fit with Canada. Shai is obviously gonna be the PG and play almost all of the mins, and Murray is too small to be a real 2. Their offense is also almost all iso ball, and Shai RJ and even brooks are gonna be more aggressive trying to iso, so there isn’t much for him to really do out there.

But he still looked bad, and will hopefully be able to shake any nagging injury stuff before the season starts
