Jalen Hurts is going back to those old habits.

Hurts not better than Goff but might be better for our offense
Well said, Goff is very good but he's also never gonna improv or create under duress, which is how he ended up with a WOAT Super Bowl performance.

Jalen struggles to see over the line which is why he's always in the gun, and that leads to his lack of rhythm at times, which is why he'll have certain games where he's not seeing it and not trusting it. He also doesn't have the Mahomes/Allen rocket to compensate for that and squeeze a ball into a window when his process is late. All valid, but he's also had an offense built around his strengths that as a result crack double digit wins every year, land top 10 in yards and points, reached one SB and might reach another in a few weeks.

This thread will get bumped in 6 days (no knock on @NYC Rebel because his criticisms have always been fair) after they play the Rams or Vikings and Jalen dumps 300 total yards & 3 TDs on them and certain people are gonna act like it's something new.

Not an Eagles fans but I think Hurts is holding them back. All is well right now but the minute y'all lose and he's 11-19 with 140 yards passing all hell got break loose. Ol boy knows why he was reading that book.

Hurts is holding them back, but he's their best option and at any time can take over a game.

Hurts is the first Black QB I've seen a team go all out for to get him weapons and gameplan around his abilities.

The Eagles really committed to him. He's super fortunate. Most Black QBs don't have that level of commitment to them as early as the Eagles built around him.

My theory is that Jalen is perceived as being limited so get him the best help available. Other black QBs are seen as damn near superhuman (Lamar) so they are expected to accomplish the same with marginal assets.

The most recent game was the wrong time to bring this thread up. He had been lackluster this season but the GB game was mostly because of scheme. Also he hadn’t played in three weeks but I won’t act like anyone would take that into account so it’s moot.
