Fentanyl isn’t lethal to the touch but it might as well be poison. Their should definitely be extra time for whoever gets caught selling that shyt.
Yea, i was talking to my cousin in med school, and he was explaining how potent Fentanyl is. He said that its really for people who've taken other opiods that haven't been enough for pain treatment. But it was pretty much created because patents on chemicals run out and the way to get around that is to slightly change the arrangement of the chemical to get a new patent. This article was good to post though, as it does point out this "ABC is bad, so let's exaggerate how bad it is" nature people have.

If anyone has any articles about this, please include:

thats a completely different convo
the convo right now is, since you cant actually overdose just by touching it why are certain pig people saying you can, thats the question that needs to be answered right now, ofc the answer is because these pig people want to charge other people with known bullshyt when they feel like it

shyt like this is irresponsible as well. i know you want to discourage drug use, but lyinh about the seriousness of it's effects causes people to get the "boy who cried wolf" syndrome and then they stop believing anything you say about drugs. this contributes to shyt becoming a gateway drug.
You see a weed commercial as a kid, saying all this stuff about how dangerous it is, one day you end up trying it for yourself and realize that commercial was bullshyt. Then you start thinking, maybe other shyt isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

From the CDC website :mjpls:

Fentanyl: Incapacitating Agent | NIOSH | CDC

CAS #: 437-38-7

RTECS #: UT5550000

UN #: UN 2811

Common Names:

  • Not established/determined

Agent Characteristics
  • APPEARANCE: Crystals or crystalline powder.
  • DESCRIPTION: Fentanyl is a member of the class of drugs known as fentanyls, rapid-acting opioid (synthetic opiate) drugs that alleviate pain without causing loss of consciousness (analgesic). Fentanyl depresses central nervous system (CNS) and respiratory function. Exposure to fentanyl may be fatal. Fentanyl is estimated to be 80 times as potent as morphine and hundreds of times more potent than heroin. It is a drug of abuse. Fentanyl (and other opioids) could possibly be used as an incapacitating agent to impair a person’s ability to function. In October 2002, the Russian military reportedly used “a fentanyl derivative” against terrorists holding hostages in a Moscow theater; 127 of the hostages died. (It is unclear whether the gas used also included other chemical agent(s).) Fentanyl is odorless.
  • METHODS OF DISSEMINATION:
    • Indoor Air: Fentanyl can be released into indoor air as fine particles or liquid spray (aerosol).
    • Water: Fentanyl can be used to contaminate water.
    • Food: Fentanyl can be used to contaminate food.
    • Outdoor Air: Fentanyl can be released into outdoor air as fine particles or liquid spray (aerosol).
    • Agricultural: If fentanyl is released into the air as fine particles or liquid spray (aerosol), it has the potential to contaminate agricultural products.
  • ROUTES OF EXPOSURE: Fentanyl can be absorbed into the body via inhalation, oral exposure or ingestion, or skin contact. It is not known whether fentanyl can be absorbed systemically through the eye. Fentanyl can be administered intravenously (IV), intramuscularly (IM), or as a skin patch (transdermally).

The whole entry is talking abouybit being used for terrorism :mjpls:

Watch they start throwing that charge around too
