I've heard some of his music and I think he's talented and, without a doubt, intelligent, but I don't see the point in this deification of him as some kind of exceptional "revolutionary" or "philosopher". That said, there are lots of things that I've heard him say in random videos and in his music that I think are important and that everyone should hear.

"Look a nine-year-old in the face and say you're in charge" :wow:

Jaden knows things. The tree told him maybe or maybe the hoodie brought him to the tree or the tree rearranged the letters on the hoodie. I think something is going on here with this young man

LOL

you people are morons

"he has an ego" blah blah blah

everyone has an ego

what's the difference, is that he's confident in that he's going to do something great
he's confident in his philosophy
he's confident in his skin
he's confident in the path he's choosing

you hate him for that confidence and so he has an ego

kid makes good music (to me)
he always came across articulate , understanding, humble, and grateful

be grown men and women and hate on a KID, because he's more confident and able to exude that , then you will ever be.

:jbhmm: I agree with this.

I also think there seems to be a public tendency to shade black men who in any way see themselves as individuals or creatives.. :patrice: like kanye
They don't want us to think we gods or that we actually are confident and proud of who we are because we are black and we've came so far as a people. It's like they tell you to be different and be confident, but when Kanye says "I am a god" he's going overboard or he's labeled crazy. That's why I look up to people like Kanye, and for this kid to be around my age to be saying this man it mean a lot on the real.

They taught their kids not to be fearful, one of the best attribute to have in this society imo :yeshrug:
They sheltered their kids and gave them no direction, to the point that they're just doing and saying random shyt that doesn't have any purpose or make any sense.

And because they're not in "trouble" or any "scandals"...idiot coli members somehow think this is good parenting.
As if selling drugs or being Kardashian-esque attention whores is the baseline to which they're to be judged.
