I dunno she was getting stale as hell as champ, and as heel. There was no one that wasn't directly involved in the main title picture left to challenge her. They obviously value Stat as someone to connect to the cac girls and wanted to really give a grand return, so booking wise it kind of makes sense. (She is major mid imo) The only other option would have been is Sasha could have came in, but even still Sasha coming in to fight for the secondary title is not great use of her.

The issue I have is after you lose a title, it's alright to go away for like a month, but it's been that already and no sign of her. Could have easily flipped a face turn by now, or 2 weeks after she lost even. We see AEW running her around Hollywood doing appearances, but she need to be returning this week to set up a match for All In. It's definitely in the timeline of "due rn" or "past due" though.

I think for someone debuting green af and learning on the job, to make a secondary title just to build her up and not have to take L's in the main title picture, and give her an undefeated streak of 60-0 is fair on AEW's part. They could have done MUCH MUCH worse for her. In the E she is still in NXT, and probably a 50/50 record.

It's tricky because she needs to wrestle lots to get better in-ring, but protect her from taking too many L's and tarnishing her. I would have brought her back after 2 weeks, have Sterling be managing a new heel girl, and he can draw some face traction for her. Then she would been running all the house shows AEW has done since then to get her in-ring up.

I don't really know how she would be an actress (probably not good), but there's a reason why nearly every wrestler that tries ends up flaming out or resorting to doing nothing but action movies. It's because they can't act and that's all they can get.

Literally name any other actor/actress WWE has tried to make this century that isn’t the Rock, Batista, and Cena. And excluding current wrestlers is disingenuous when for many that’s the goal when they get into wrestling. A lot of these wrestlers that have tried wouldn’t have been wrestling as long as they did if they could get anything going in Hollywood.
