He’s right, but it’s such a rough place for her to be in. She has no real future in AEW with those marks. Tony can’t push her the way he clearly wants to and because of that he’s got her literally running her own division. On what planet can you go a year without being pinned and not be the main champion?During last week’s edition fo his Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T spoke on wanting to see Jade Cargill on a bigger stage in WWE:
Booker T on wanting to see Jade Cargill in WWE: “She’s kind of like under the radar, you know what I mean? She’s not in the big belt picture. She’s like on her own wing … It’s not like she’s really in the division. So it feels a little bit different like I guess that’s why I I don’t think about Jay Cargill as much even though she’s a specimen. She’s definitely uh someone that’s uh got WWE written all over”
She had her first match early last year. WWE would've had her in NXT anyway. He’s right, but it’s such a rough place for her to be in. She has no real future in AEW with those marks. But she’s also not willing to be a mark herself which is what it would take to make it in WWE. She has a life outside of wrasslin she’s not willing to give up which is what they would require.
She's better than most of the woman wrestlers in NXT right now. The non indy one's at least. They have people like Lash Legend and Elektra Lopez still figuring things out and most of those other chicks aren't putting out Horsewoman classics yet.whats keeping her back from completely running the division in AEW is she is still green in the ring and tony is protecting britt baker from that inevitable clash
one benefit of her being in WWE had she signed there from the jump wouldve been she'd probably have progressed more in the ring to this point with the PC training, BUT she also wouldnt be presented as a smidget of the big deal that she was in AEW at all ESPECIALLY under HBK's booking
the best case scenario of her being the biggest star she could possibly be would be making the jump to WWE after her AEW deal expires as WWE would book her like a star off of the work that AEW put in to build her.. but after seeing her breakfast club interview she puts a lot of emphasis on liking AEW due to the schedule, not being on the road 24/7 and being able to raise her daughter the way she wants to so im not sure if she'd be willing to sacrifice that
Most of the women in NXT can't wrestle for shyt unless they come from the indies and even then it's hit and miss. There's a reason why 20-year-old Roxanne Perez was instantly one of the best in NXT the second she signed that contract.whats keeping her back from completely running the division in AEW is she is still green in the ring and tony is protecting britt baker from that inevitable clash

Of course if she signed with WWE now they'd put her on the main roster because she's already a star from her work in AEW.

idk how my point became a jade vs wwe PC products who have only been wrestling for a year or less argument but it's not a reach to say that had she signed with WWE almost 4 years ago in 2019 when she had her tryout she would be further along in the ring having trained at the PC everyday for almost 4 years. How did this come a WWe thread and have you saw the women in NXt wrestle
She started training just a year later in AEW. The Woman's Champ in NXT is thee Indy darling and the rest of the one's that put on good matches started in the indies.idk how my point became a jade vs wwe PC products who have only been wrestling for a year or less argument but it's not a reach to say that had she signed with WWE almost 4 years ago in 2019 when she had her tryout she would be further along in the ring having trained at the PC everyday for almost 4 years.
also yall do realize that for the most part the non-indy women are non-factors in the booking on NXT, right? my point is she made the best possible decision signing with AEW because they invested in her in a way WWE would never
jade had never wrestled a match in her life prior to debuting in AEW and she had the opportunity to debut in a huge match while being green and learning on the job while being put under a microscope to be dissected by trolls and botch pages, she wasnt better than lash legend is rn back in 2021 her booking was just way better
