Former NFL kick returner Jacoby Jones died in his sleep at his home in New Orleans on July 14. The medical examiner has ruled that Jones died of natural causes, TMZ Sports reports Tuesday.



Hypertensive cardiovascular disease, heart disease caused by long-term high blood pressure, was listed as the cause of death. Jones was only 40.


Health is wealth, brothers and sisters. Please stay on top of your blood pressure and monitor it frequently. We should be seeing a doctor at least once a year if not once a month. I'll be going to Colombia tomorrow evening and already have one appointment with a dentist and another with a cardiologist**. As a matter of fact, I'll probably be asking for blood pressure medication if need be. We only live once so we might as well make the best of it.:francis::to:

I kind of gave up preaching health to people
still walking around ignoring high blood pressure/sugar doing the same bullshyt they use to in their 20's
do not wait until it's too late and the damage is done.

regular visit to the doctor for blood work
(take meds if you have to)
limit or completely cut out sugar/alcohol/saturated fats
get to moving, walk, run, jog, do whatever just keep moving
get good sleep
avoid stress

Damn was he still in good shape after retirement? If so could he have been juicing? From the picture I wouldn’t think so. Genetic or poor diet?

Americans in general don't know how to live for a long time. Living longer is still new and we don't have enough mainstream data to brainwash our population for the various life stages.

Our biggest corporations of push products that'll end us prematurely. Food, alcohol, tobacco. Yeah there's a stage or 2 in life where you can indulge but you can't live 70 years old doin living the same lifestyles when you were 15 to 25.

A 60 year old doesn't need to eat as much as a 20 year old but our portion sizes are out of control and there's not much mainstream information on when you should cut out certain foods and cut down on portions and caloric intake.
