:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol: brooklyn left always taking Ls'

edit: original claim against the day girl seems to be wrong but that maza shyt is egregious
how is it wrong???

They didn't sell off all of their ownership of stores and they still, if the reporting is right, owned at least some 4-5 of the 19 stores they originally had when Kamala prosecuted them.

Either way, her bread is from furniture rentals :francis:

They were major franchise owners.

https://www.bizjournals.com/sanantonio/stories/2004/01/19/editorial1.html

At the final goat sale, he was given the advice to check into the furniture and appliance rental industry. He quickly concluded it was a good fit (decisiveness is another characteristic of successful entrepreneurs). He invested in his first Aaron Rents store in 1996. He has grown the company from one to 19 stores and recently completed the sale of 15 stores to the Aaron Rents parent organization for $17.5 million.
but that's not what I asked. Who were the actual plaintiffs in the case?

I loathe grifters who try to undermine serious efforts at getting shyt done.

Like this for example: :scust:

https://pagesix.com/2020/01/26/pundit-who-trashes-joe-biden-once-tried-to-work-for-him/

You clearly didn't read the article - she told him she didn't want to work for him - and she also tried to get him to back several of her left-of-center candidates.
The title is misleading.
I can tell you're using the term "grifter" because you spend all day on Twitter -

So then her parents weren't prosecuted for scamming then?

Aren you playing dumb? Do you know what LLCs and corporations are for? :gucci:

@tru_m.a.c this is her father bruh as of January 9, 2019:

https://www.bizjournals.com/sananto...-entrepreneurtalks-plans-for-texas-first.html

"We were the largest Aaron's leaser in America. We had stores from Texas to Alaska. In July, we sold those to corporate Aaron's. I won't tell you how much we got, but it was substantial," he said. "That put us in the mode to do some tax-advantaged investing."
:wow:

January 30, 2019:

https://www.bizjournals.com/sananto...irst-opportunity-zone-investor-rules-too.html

Things began to take shape last summer, when Day sold 50 Aaron's franchises, a lease-to-own home furnishings and appliances retailer, back to the company for roughly $80 million. After debts were paid, Day netted $15 million in capital gains and a $3 million tax bill on them. With a self-described hatred for paying taxes, Day soon learned about the new Opportunity Zone program and began looking for opportunities to invest all along the Interstate 35 corridor. He acknowledged that a ground-up build was not his first choice.

Dude made 15 million in 2018 and even hated paying taxes :wow:

They STILL owned major numbers of stores after the Kamala prosecution and that number went UP from the 2004 reporting of only 20 stores!!!

So the company got prosecuted for scamming and he made more money through the company after the prosecution? How did he profit off the prosecution if the purpose of the case was to stop the scammers?

Do you know what Aaron's is?

its like Rent A Center.

The company at large got prosecuted and he was a major investor and shareholder.

Kamala prosecuted in like 2013/2014. He's STILL an Aaron's shareholder up through 2019.

You can't defend this.

This isn't like owning a McDonalds. Its way more capital intensive and intimate.

I thought you guys knew how liability worked :francis:

https://pagesix.com/2020/01/26/pundit-who-trashes-joe-biden-once-tried-to-work-for-him/

As she writes in her book “Reversing The Apocalypse,” in 2015 “Hill TV” host and former MSNBC talking head Krystal Ball was so keen to land work for Biden’s much anticipated 2016 White House campaign that she moved her family into temporary housing in Washington, DC, just in case he ran. (He didn’t, of course.)

Meanwhile, insiders say that in 2017, Ball and Biden’s camp once again discussed plans for Ball to join the team, this time drafting ideas for his institute. (We’re told that they approached her on that occasion, and ultimately she didn’t sign up to do that work). And then in 2018 Ball asked Biden’s team to consider endorsing a raft of candidates she was backing in the midterms, lauding his appeal in key districts. A source close to Ball told us, “Of course Krystal tried to get endorsements for her candidates. It would have been political malpractice not to!”

:snooze:

She didn't get a prime job and tried to spin it. :stopitslime:

Now all of a sudden she's this big "populist socialist" :heh: :francis:

She tried joining Biden even AFTER the 2016 election :mjlol:

Her parents owned Aaron's franchises but none in California which is of course where the lawsuit was.

The writer has legit only written about Kamala 3-4 times.

Her saying she legit didn't know this happened is believable as why would she know any of the details of a lawsuit that didn't affect her or her family in any which way or form when she was a kid?

In summation: We hoped the quarantine would allow for these young southeast Asian men to stay home with their families and stop posting their Pro-Hillary and Pro-Drake spam but obviously they've been considered essential and are working from home.

So again, you're saying that Kamala prosecuted the company, he was a major partner of said company, and after the prosecution he got richer?

:heh: how many more posts is it going to take before you realize I've already flipped the focal point of this discussion

You don't even know what the focal point is except ignoring that the Jacobin is functionally dead and you've worshipped a cosplay socialist after 5 years of failure.

These are the same people who try to link index fund investment in energy as being equivocal to "hating the green new deal" so yes, this RICH GIRL can take her faux socialism and stick it.

She's making money on the most foundational necessities ... and RENTING them.

The rest of us are actually here on the front lines.

She ain't cutting checks.

I don't think the article proves that her parents were directly involved in this fukkery.
Most importantly I don't care to spend my finite and valuable time on this earth defending ultra wealthy white people. :hubie:We'll just agree to disagree and keep it moving:yeshrug:

Wait, wait...you didn't answer my question though.

How would someone prosecuted for scamming, who is found guilty of scamming, be able to get richer through that same scamming company after said prosecution?
