Appreciate y’all for posting dope music , I’m from Jacksonville but didn’t follow the local rap scene

nikkas used to love Boosie so much down there. These dudes used to sing Boosie lyrics all day in jail. I’m taking bout, in unison at night time while everyone laying down. I used to be like wtf wrong with y’all nikkas lol. Him and BG. Those two got the most love by far

:russ: facts, BG is 2pac status in Duval county

“I’m from the ghetto homie, I was raised on bread and bologna” used to hear that shyt everywhere

In a city like ville, 9 times outta 10 that's how artists will be, 1 foot in 1 foot out.

The ville not a entertainment hub and doesn't have a unique style or story so artists here fall to the bottom of the bag with other southern artists who come from namebrand cities.

That means rap not paying them how they want so they're still hustlin.
I can cosign this, shyt I was barely rapping in orlando in college and I was meeting grammy award winning producers and a couple deep industry cats face to face and I wasn't even releasing that much music. But here in jax most the artist get to like local performance level and that's about as far as the energy goes for the most part.

If you from here and trying to make it, you have to move around. Social media making it easier now tho.

He wasn't a street nikka?

shyt I don’t know. Only time I ever saw him was in a studio a long time ago. Think he pulled up in a Hummer and chopped it up with my partner. But besides that I can’t confirm or deny what he had going on. I know for a fact nikkas in the county and up the road did not fukk with him at all though cause I saw that for myself. When you be locked up, nikkas will argue over ever little thing all day. But Young Cash being fake was something they all agreed on lol. Dudes was saying he was a rat too. Some nikkas sounded like they was just hating. But if every single person saying the same shyt, something gotta be up.

Y’all remember Jim Beam? They was definitely some real street nikkas. My partna used to manage them. Only one problem though...they might have been the worst rappers of all time
